Join over 24 million people in discovering their strengths

The Strengthsfinder assessment was designed to help individuals identify, understand, and maximize their strengths. The belief is that all people have a unique combination of talents, knowledge, and skills -- strengths -- that they use in their daily lives to do their work, achieve their goals, and interact with others.

Over the last few years, Gallup's assessment tool has grown in popularity and because of this, the Gallup Strengths coaching certification was developed.

" A coach is a person who invests in and interacts with an individual, partnership, or team for the primary purpose of stimulatingmotivating, and facilitating the growthdevelopment and performance of that individual, partnership or team."  (taken from Gallup)

Gallup has found that when people understand and apply their strengths, they experience a transformational effect to their lives and work. They do this by having listened to over 7 billion people - employers, clients, students, citizens.  Gallup knows it’s stuff.

So how are strengths developed?

Well, they require talent, and strengths then develop from investment.  Gallup defines these as:

  • Talent - A natural way of thinking, feeling or behaving

  • Investment - time spent practising, developing your skills and building your knowledge base

  • Strength - the ability to consistently provide near-perfect performance

Talent x Investment = Strength

As a coach, Alysen will highlight and celebrate your natural talents and help develop these into strengths.
